Chord Overstreet Says 'Glee' Cast Has Nothing To Do With Upcoming Doc

Actor and musician, Chord Overstreet surprised Elvis Duran and the Morning Show on Friday November 11th after bumping into Elvis Duran the night before in New York City.

The Acapulco star is here in NYC to promote his new movie out on Netflix 'Falling For Christmas,' starring alongside Lindsay Lohan. "We did press for it tis week and the premiere was Wednesday night," he continues, "I’m having a blast. It doesn’t feel like a job still and I get excited to do it every day."

Before this Christmas movie, putting out music and his Apple TV+ series Acapulco, Overstreet was most known for his role as Sam Evans on the series Glee. Recently it was announced that a three-part docuseries from Discovery+ and ID will explore the behind-the-scenes controversies from the series. Although yet to be titled, the announcement was said to have "key cast and crew members" and will discuss the highs and lows of the production (Variety). However, Overstreet feels there will be no truth in the upcoming doc.

"I think all that’s bullshit," Overstreet says before getting bleeped on-air with Elvis Duran, "I think that anybody who knows anything about that show and has experienced it doesn’t have anything to do with that... from what I know." He continues, "We’re all really close and pretty much like family and no one knows anything about that. I think it’s a little bit about getting people to watch something... clickbait."

You can watch season 2 of Acapulco streaming on Apple TV+ and watch his new movie Falling For Christmas out now on Netflix!
