Many people ask me, "Hey where'd you get your name Wingnut from?". And I have to tell them the same story...
- It's not a political name
- It's from "Endless Summer"
- And I used to surf more so the nick name fit me perfectly
- I used to lie and say my parents named me Wingnut, but it's not nice to lie.
So...when I see a surfing story I have to share...especially one here in our own backyard!
A surfing instructor in Indian Harbour Beach named "Kritter" spends his days teaching hotel guests at either the Radisson or the Hilton how to surf...but on occasion he'll bring out his surfing buddy Max too! Max isn't a surfer bro, he's a surfing ferret.
We need to make t-shirts with Max on it...and make this ferret a freaking mascot to beachside or something.
