Selena Gomez’s mom is breaking her silence on Justin Bieber. Mandy Teefey told Gossip Cop that Selena is an “adult” and that she “can make her own choices.”
While Mandy acknowledges that she’s “not happy” with her daughter’s rekindled romance, she added: “Selena can live her life however she wants as long as she is happy, safe and healthy.”
Mandy added that she doesn’t “control” Selena “the way it has been portrayed” and that she can take care of herself.
“She is 25 years old and knows what is at stake with her health,” she concluded.
Selena and Bieber reunited after she underwent an emergency kidney transplant surgery and following her split from The Weeknd.
