Image your city not having 4th of July fireworks because they can't afford it. Well, that WOULD've happened to the city of New Orleans if it wasn't for actor/comedian Will Smith saving the day.
He was in New Orleans over the weekend apparently filming for a movie to shed light on a famous enslaved man who fought with the Union army during the Civil War in the US. He heard the city was calling off the fireworks due to lack of funds and he immediately stepped in. Not only did he step in, he stepped UP by donating $100,000 to fund the city's firework show downtown.
The city showed HELLA LOVE to him, as should be!
