Seth Rogen has no plans to work with longtime creative collaborator James Franco after sexual misconduct allegations.
In a new interview with the British Sunday Times, Seth shared how his personal and professional relationship with James Franco has suffered since the accusations against James in 2014 and 2018.
"What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment, and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that," Seth said.
To refresh your memory, James was accused of using Instagram to meet up with a 17-year-old in 2014. Then in 2018, five women publicly accused him of inappropriate or sexually exploitative behavior in 2018.
Seth told the Sunday Times the scandal affected his relationship with James: "I can say it, um, you know, it has changed many things in our relationship and our dynamic."
Twitter reaction is combination of surface level sadness about the news and a newfound respect for Seth.
