When the world is fighting a pandemic and dealing with the stresses of social distancing, why not have a Disney singalong?
ABC threw together a star-studded TV special called "The Disney Family Singalong" where artists filmed and recorded themselves at home. I watched on my couch, curled up in a massive blanket, singing every word because they had those cute bouncy Mickey Mouse ears bopping along the lyrics on screen.
Here are some of my favorites:
Ariana Grande - "I Won't Say I'm in Love" from Hercules
Ari paying respek to the most under appreciated Disney soundtrack.
Luke Evans, Josh Gad and Alan Menken - "Gaston" from Beauty and the Beast
THE GREAT ALAN MENKEN. And that last note. These two are such gems.
Little Big Town - "Just a Spoonful of Sugar" from Mary Poppins
This was pretty rough and I won't be TOO shady that someone didn't know the words (RUDE) but this turned out really cute with all the kids.
Tori Kelly - "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas
Are we surprised the angelic Tori Kelly nailed another ballad? We stan.
Beyoncé - "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio
Queen Bey made a surprise appearance, making me so damn emotional.
