After being teased for months. we finally have a real, live-action trailer for The Lion King.
I mean, it's only one minute and 48 seconds long but WE'LL TAKE IT.
We don't hear Beyonce voicing Sarabi yet but we do get hear James Earl Jones back as the one and only voice of Mufasa. Ugh, the waves of nostalgia came flooding back as I remembered watching the original Lion King on the floor in my living room 1995.
We also got to hear Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar and he's not quite as menacing as Jeremy Irons so far. But I'll reserve my full shadiness until after I see the movie.
And for just a few seconds we get a taste of Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen as Timon and Pumbaa! I'm such a big fan of both guys and can't wait to see their take on "Hakuna Matata".
The Lion King is out in 100 days on July 19.
