Hi! Thank you for this opportunity. I am writing to share with you a fantastic story of great timing and love. My boo and I met online Jan. 2017. We became exclusive and truly loved each other but communication hurdles lead to our break up Dec 5th, 2017. Our parting was very sad for both of us, but it seemed final. We both did our best to move on. We exchanged holiday pleasantries but that was about it. By Feb 2018, Chris reached out to me. He wanted to work through what he couldn't work through before. He wanted a second chance. I wanted to give him one, despite having put myself back into the dating pool. We have been going strong ever since. That's a true miracle, since in May of 2018 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Just imagine if I had been diagnosed while we were separated. I most certainly wouldn't have been able to navigate a mentally healthy reunion under those circumstances. However, we still only had a few months of being re-coupled under our belts before this shocking news. He stepped up in amazing ways. He went to doctor appointments with me, took care of me and proudly showed me and my bald head off. He told me I was beautiful despite having no eyebrows, no color in my face and poison running through my body. He has an appointment for a breast cancer themed tattoo. Isn't that cutest??! He's the cutest! Today, I am almost a month post double mastectomy and cancer free. Woohoo! He is fully present being supportive, while still being committed to working on our relationship challenges. He truly loves me for me and I love him for him. Winning this prize package would be an amazing thank you to him and a wonderful celebration for me. Chemo and surgery were quite the journey but I'm out the other side and ready for an amazing 2019. Thank you for letting me share my story and your consideration.
