A fun tease is cool but a whole spoiler??? That's what it looked like when a now-deleted tweet claimed they had leaked Grammy winners big category winners from the official site.
Here are the "winners":
Song Of The Year: "Shallow" — Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando & Andrew Wyatt, songwriters (Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper)
Record Of The Year: "I Like It," Cardi B and Bad Bunny
Album Of The Year: H.E.R. — H.E.R.
Best New Artist: Chloe x Halle
Best Pop Solo: "Colors" — Beck
Best Pop Duo: "The Middle" — Zedd, Maren Morris, Grey
Best Pop Album: Reputation — Taylor Swift
The Grammys responded with a quickness to shut down any possibility that this kind of leak could actually happen. "There is no legitimacy to this," the Recording Academy told Complex . "GRAMMY Awards results are not shared, even with Recording Academy staff members, until the day of the GRAMMY Awards ceremony, when names of the recipients are delivered by Deloitte in sealed envelopes."
I'm not mad this turned out to be fake. Hopefully it means Chloe x Halle lose to Dua Lipa for Best New Artist!
