Deadpool is not the superhero you'd bring home to your momma. And that's why we love him! But Ryan Reynolds is out to prove he can be family friendly. Kind of.
Once Upon a Deadpool is a remixed version of Deadpool 2 to make it PG-13. It'll play out with Deadpool reading the story to Fred Savage as “an homage to Savage’s starring role in the 1987 bedtime-story classic The Princess Bride.”
And to prove Deadpool isn't a total monster, 20th Century Fox is also donating $1 from each ticket sold to “Fudge Cancer.” The charity organization’s real name is “F--k Cancer,” but the founders “graciously changed their name to be more PG-13 friendly for the 12 days of Once Upon A Deadpool’s release,” according to 20th Century Fox.
Check out the trash talking trailer below. Once Upon a Deadpool hits theaters on December 12th.
