The Pulse: Mariah Carey Drag Show, Springfield Tour, Chicago the Musical

Mimi: a Drag Tribute to Mariah Carey

By now you should know Bebe Deluxe is the best damn drag queen in Jacksonville. No, seriously. Her shows are a thing. Watch the video from her inspirational Star Wars themed performance above.

Bebe has put on signature Glitterbomb Presents shows that paid tribute to Britney Spears, Ke$ha, Beyonce, the good ole days of Nickelodeon and now it's time for Mimi.

Watch Bebe and her merry band of drag sisters salute (and possible poke fun at) Mariah Carey at Metro Entertainment Complex. You can catch two shows Friday, May 18th at 10:30 p.m. and midnight. Hit up the ATM first cause you'll wanna throw your whole paychecks at these girls. And the generous bartenders.

Historic Springfield Home Tour

I nerd out hard on some Jax history. So hard that I made my home in Historic Springfield -- Jacksonville’s oldest neighborhood! It has so much charm and nostalgia in the unique architecture and design. Come see for yourself on the 40th Annual Historic Springfield Tour of Homes this weekend! You’ll get a detailed look at how these homeowners mix vintage and modern design. So much home decor inspo.

Get ready to open mouth stare at all eight renovated homes on the tour. One of them is a three-story beauty built in 1897! Swipe through the photos above to get a preview of the GORGEOUS loft that was originally built in 1928 as a candy shop.

The home tour is Saturday May 19th and Sunday May 18th from noon to 5 p.m. Get your tickets here ASAP. You'll love exploring Springfield's pretty tree-lined streets, breweries and restaurants.

FSCJ Artist Series Presents 'Chicago'

The FSCJ Artist Series came throooooough this season! Catch the legendary Broadway musical CHICAGO this weekend only at the Times-Union Center!

It's the #1 longest-running American musical in Broadway history for a reason. CHICAGO is a sexy story of fame, fortune, and all that jazz. If you've never seen it before, you'll immediately fall in love with the dancing and every single song.

You could even make a Sunday brunch of it because the FSCJ Artist Series teamed up with the Candy Apple Cafe and Cocktails for a matinee special. There's even a special show-themed cocktail called the Razzle Dazzle. You need that in your life.

You can find info on tickets and showtimes here.
