Mary Poppins is one of my ALL TIME favorite movies because Julie Andrews is my queen. Figuretively and in movies.
Growing up, on sick days or rainy days, my mom and I would watch The Sound of Music or Mary Poppins. So I've watched both at least 50 times -- each. It's a piece of my childhood that I was so excited to pass down to my niece when she was old enough for singalongs.
Then it was announced a reboot/sequel to the 1964 classic was happening and I lost my mind. Mary Poppins Returns stars Emily Blunt as my girl Mary, Lin-Manuel Miranda as her optimistic friend Jack the street lamplighter, and Meryl Streep as Mary's quirky cousin, Topsy!
