Meet Alfredo Quiñones-Hinojosa. Or as Brad Pitt and the rest of the world calls him, Dr. Q.
His life is so incredible and inspirational that Brad Pitt's production company Plan B is teaming up with Disney to make a movie about Dr. Q.
Dr. Q was born in Mexico but came to the states for that hope that so many immigrants have: to live that American dream. He didn't have any money and didn't know English when he crossed the border. But that didn't stop him from working on a farm, earning his way into UCLA and eventually Johns Hopkins Hospital to become a BRAIN SURGEON. Now, Dr. Q is the head of neurological surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Kind of a big deal!
It was such an honor to interview him. As a fellow Latino, I couldn't be more proud of what this man has accomplished.
