A winter storm warning is taking effect 7 PM Tuesday, January 21 to 1PM Wednesday, January 22
IMPACT: Widespread rain across all of our area, with very cold air already in place. Frigid morning temperatures coupled with the precipitation will bring wintry precipitation to some areas. This could cause issues on bridges and overpasses that freeze easier than roads. Ice is more likely west and north of Jacksonville. Snow is possible for far northern areas. NEED: Plan commutes accordingly, and have warming strategies for those who may be vulnerable to the cold. Protect people, pets, and plants through the duration… and depending on your plumbing you may need to protect the pipes as well.
