A Jacksonville Based Company Is Suing MrBeast

Dee's Nuts or Deez Nuts?

On August 25th, Jacksonville based company "Dee's Nuts" filed a lawsuit against MrBeast's Feastables for trademark infringement for the chocolate flavor "Deez Nuts". Dee's Nuts founder Brian Ditore had originally placed a US Patent and Trademark on the name in 2012.

This lawsuit follows a cease-and-desist sent in February for Feastables to stop using the name "Deez Nuts" - which was responded with, basically, a 'no'.

Despite the difference in spelling and product, the two names are phonetically the same. Brian Ditore has claimed the shared names have caused confusion and irreparable harm to the company - as when consumers search for Dee's Nuts products on retail site, Feastables is the first product to appear.

On September 21st, the two sides reached a settlement agreement, however the terms of the agreement have not been made public.
