I am a big fan of A24's coming-of-age films, especially 'Lady Bird', so I was stoked to see a new trailer drop for their new film 'When You Finish Saving The World'! The main character, Ziggy, is played by Finn Wolfhard.
This movie is also Jesse Eisenberg's directorial debut! The concept for the film originated in 2020 - Jesse Eisenberg created an audiobook drama of the story winning the 2021 Audie Award for Original Work. Finn Wolfhard participated in the narration for it as well!
From what I can tell from the trailer, the film takes place in more modern times, so I don't think we'll be seeing flip phones like we do in 'Lady Bird'. Watch it below!
