Two Small Planes Make Separate Emergency Landings on Central Florida Roads

Two small planes crash-landed onto Central Florida roadways Monday.

First around 2pm a small plane with two souls on board made an emergency landing in Volusia County on a road near Deland High School.

Both were taken to the hospital with injuries.

Then last night a plane piloted by a 27-year-Old from Orlando reported engine problems according to the FAA.

The pilot set it down on I-95 in Brevard County near Cocoa clipping a car and injuring the driver inside.

Two people in the plane were okay, but a 57-year-old woman in the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The NTSB is investigating both crashes.
