Former President Trump held what amounted to a campaign speech at Mar-a-Lago today.
He spoke for about an hour, covering many issues like the Border and the economy and mentioned that voting trends appear to be changing.
"Republicans never lead in the early voting because, for whatever reason, it's habit or it's a certain security they feel in going to the booth. Every single state, we're leading in."
As far as Florida is concerned, more than five million people have voted so far and about 45 percent of them are Republicans, compared with 33 percent Democrats.
Trump also touted his slight leads in seven key swing states, but also claims his campaign is doing better than usual in some traditional "blue states."
"Some states are in play that nobody thought would ever be in play but I think people are seeing because, again, we're the party of common sense."
The former president cheered as a major success his rally at New York's Madison Square Garden on Sunday. Donald Trump spoke at the event, which featured Elon Musk, Robert F. Kennedy Junior, Melania Trump and others.
"Politicians that have been doing this for a long time, 30 and 40 years, said there's never been an event so beautiful. It was a love fest...an absolute love fest and it was my honor to be involved."
He did not reference a controversial joke about Puerto Rico that was made at the New York event by a comedian, but the Trump campaign has come out to distance itself from the joke.
