The World's Richest Animals

I'm a huge fan of Disney's 'The Aristocats' - and the whole plot-line was about Madame leaving everything to her cats - but never did I ever expect that to be a real-life situation...

A German Shepherd named Gunther IV is the richest animal in the world, with a net worth of $500 million! He started out with $80 million that he inherited from his grandfather (yes, another dog) and his owner, The Gunther Corporation, has done a great job in real estate investments on his behalf. And not only did he live in a mansion once owned by Madonna, he sold it for $29 million!

The next richest animal is also business savvy... Nala Cat, owning her own premium cat food brand, "Love, Nala", and giving her a net worth of $100 million.

The third most rich animal is none other than Taylor Swift's cat, Olivia Benson. Olivia has a $97 million net worth accrued from social media, music video appearances, merchandise, and working in advertisements, such as Diet Coke!

Just like Madame from 'The Aristocats', Betty White left her dog, Pontiac, well off with $5 million. Oprah Winfrey plans to leave her five dogs a total of $30 million. All to make sure they are well cared for!
