OMG OMG OMG. 'Life With Derek' was a Family Channel show in Canada, but all four seasons also premiered on Disney Channel from 2005-2009. Although, I don't think all parts of the US had it... Jacksonville was very fortunate!
'Life With Luca' takes place 15 years after the shows ending, using original cast members, Ashley Leggat and Michael Seater, following Casey and Derek as they each navigate parenthood. Derek is a single father & musician while Casey is a married mother of three and a lawyer. The show is named for Casey's eldest son, Luca.
The movie will be premiere February of 2023 on the Family Channel in Canada. Fingers crossed we'll hear something about a release in the US soon!
