We've all heard that Disney wants to make pop stars out of their actors, they even tried to get Dylan and Cole Sprouse on board. Needless to say, there's been a lot of successful artists to come from Disney Channel. As a kid that was addicted to television, it's cool to grow up with them and still be a fan in a different way! Here's some of my favorites, as well as some you might've not known got their start on Disney!
Sabrina Carpenter from "Girl Meets World"
Ross Lynch from "Austin & Ally"
Britney Spears from "The Mickey Mouse Club" (Justin Timberlake & Christina Aguilera got their start from there too!)
Zendaya from "Shake It Up"
Hilary Duff from "Lizzie McGuire"
Aly & AJ from "Cow Belles"
Hayley Kiyoko from "Lemonade Mouth" (Plus an honorable mention to Bridgit Mendler who is becoming a doctor!)
Dove Cameron from "Liv and Maddie"
Not to mention Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett who haven't totally pulled the brakes on acting yet! And of course the ones we all know and love: Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez. Plus some "High School Musical" members who took their shot at making a successful music career: Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, and Corbin Bleu. Brings me back to the days of Disney Sing It!
