The Jacksonville Fairgrounds is Moving to the Westside

In 2025, the Jacksonville Fairgrounds will make its move to the Westside - next to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center on Normandy Boulevard. The current location was purchased by Shad Khan's (Jacksonville Jaguars owner) development company, Iguana Investments, and will be turned into surface parking to support Jaguars games and other events at TIAA Bank Field.

I'm curious, the statement released by Iguana Investments doesn't mention the future surface parking being used for 121 Financial Ballpark or the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena, which are both significantly closer to the lot. Also, the fact that parking is currently available at the fairgrounds for events held there.

Not mention, now I have to drive all the way to Westside for the fair? Would you? Answer this question on News4Jax's website.
