This Weekend: The Cummer Museum is Hosting its First-Ever Music Festival

Just when I thought Jacksonville's local live music couldn't get any better, for the first time in its 60 years, The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens has announced its first-ever music festival: Mighty Oak Music & Makers Festival. Taking place under the shade of the Cummer Museum's 200+ year-old Live Oak tree from noon-9:00pm on Saturday, April 30th.

“The Mighty Oak Music and Makers Festival is a wonderful opportunity to experience the diversity of Northeast Florida’s musicians and artisan communities while enjoying the beautiful experience of the Cummer Gardens,” said Dr. Andrea Barnwell Brownlee, the George W. and Kathleen I. Gibbs Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Museum. “As we celebrate our 60th anniversary, we are excited to create opportunities to engage the wide range of artists that contribute to the cultural fabric of the First Coast.”

The lineup of bands & makers can be found on The Cummer Museum's event page, as well as a link to purchase tickets - starting at $15 for non-members & price varying in tiers.
