It has been 15 years since the Fugees all took to the stage together, and many of their fans thought the moment would never happen. But with the 25th anniversary of their game-changing album The Score (a record that is still considered one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time), Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel opted to come together once again to celebrate.

Livestreaming their first show as part of Global Citizen Live, the show saw the first performance of "Ready or Not" in more than 15 years. Containing all the magic that filled Fugees' first few shows way back in the '90s, the crowd was taken back 25 years. While Hill, Jean, and Michel all sound older, a full band fit with trumpets stood behind them to create a more filling atmosphere.

Taking place a few days before the Global Citizen Live streaming event, the trio's performance saw them on the rooftop at Pier 17, with a 360-degree view of New York's harbor. The lucky few in the crowd were able to see Hill, Jean, and Michel return to the stage once again after stating they never would nearly 15 years earlier. They went through many of their biggest hits from The Score, the show kicking off an upcoming reunion tour that will see them making stops in Chicago, Oakland, Inglewood, Atlanta, Miami, Newark, Washington, DC, Paris, London, Nigeria, and Ghana. Tickets for their upcoming shows are available here.

"The Fugees have a complex but impactful history," Hill said in a statement regarding the group's reunion. "I wasn't even aware the 25th anniversary had arrived until someone brought it to my attention. I decided to honor this significant project, its anniversary, and the fans who appreciated the music by creating a peaceful platform where we could unite, perform the music we loved, and set an example of reconciliation for the world."
