BTS is dropping another album this year!
The K-pop superstars have announced their next music project will be titled Be (Deluxe Edition). The bandâs next LP, which follows Februaryâs Map of the Soul: 7 and Julyâs Map of the Soul: 7 â The Journey, releases on digital and streaming formats November 20.
Per an announcement shared by Variety, BTS stated, âThe new album imparts a message of healing to the world by declaring, âEven in the face of this new normality, our life goes on.ââ
âFor this album in particular, the septet took a step further and was involved not only in the music making process, but also in the overall production: concept, composition, design, etc.,â adding that the groupâs newest project âreflects the thoughts, emotions and deepest ruminations of BTS while working on the album. This new project offers an even richer musical spectrum experience as well as the most âBTS-ishâ music yet."
The album announcement comes just a month after the South Korean boy band issued their first English-language track, âDynamite,â on August 21. Considering BE is described as a Korean-language album, itâs unclear whether âDynamiteâ will appear on BTSâ next full-length release.
So far, the septet has released three singles in 2020: âBlack Swan,â âOn,â and âDynamite.â As previously reported, BTS will feature on a new remixed version of Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685âs âSavage Love,â which premieres this Friday (October 2).
