Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello To Debut 'Señorita' Live At 2019 VMAs

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes will be bringing the heat to this year's MTV Video Music Awards.

The music collaborators — and alleged couple — will perform their sexy smash single "Señorita" live for the first time ever at the 2019 VMAs, MTV announced Wednesday (August 21). Not to mention, the track is nominated for a number of honors including best collaboration, best choreography, best cinematography, best art direction, and unsurprisingly, song of summer.

The pair, who previously released the team-up "I Know What You Did Last Summer," unveiled their follow-up collaboration in July, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. After all this time since its arrival, the rumored lovebirds have been spotted holding hands, locking lips, and going on dates all across the country. The musicians, however, have neither confirmed nor denied whether they are more than just friends as they'd like the public to believe. The "Havana" songbird and Canadian crooner will join previously-announced 2019 VMAs acts Normani, Ozuna, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Jonas Brothers, H.E.R., Lil Nas X, Lizzo, and Rosalía. Additionally, 2019 Video Vanguard recipient Missy Elliott will deliver a live set during the ceremony as well.

Sebastian Maniscalco will be hosting the event, which airs live from the Prudential Center in New Jersey on Monday (August 26) at 8 p.m. EST/PT on MTV.
