9/11: NEVER FORGET- Raise money for Our Hometown Heroes Local Charities

Red Hometown Heroes Cups return to raise money for Our Hometown Heroes Local Charities

WHAT: The Red Hometown Heroes Cup returns to all MISSION BBQ locations. When Our Customers buy a Red Hometown Heroes Cup, $2 from the purchase will be donated to the local charities chosen by the local Fire and Police Departments in Our Communities. Thanks to the support of Our Customers, these Hometown Heroes Cups were able to raise over $208,000 in 2016.

On Monday, September 11, MISSION BBQ will also honor all law enforcement, firefighters and EMS with free sandwiches all day at each of its restaurants. Additionally, a local First Responder will perform a live rendition of the National Anthem at noon.

“We will never forget that tragic day in history that changed the world forever,” MISSION BBQ co-founders Steve Newton and Bill Kraus said. “This is our opportunity to remember, give back, and honor those brave men and women who run into dangerous situations while others are running out.”
