Joseph Robertson served in the United States army during World War II and was a member of the infantry during the Battle of the Bulge. One night, an enemy German soldier came upon him, and he asked the soldier to surrender. Instead, the enemy soldier raised a gun to him. Mr. Robertson fired his weapon.
The first night after, killing the soldier didn't bother him. But the SECOND night...
