4th Annual Froggy’s Drive for Research Golf Tournament To Benefit BAF

Palencia Club in St. Augustine, FL

The 4th Annual Froggy’s Drive for Research Golf Tournament to benefit the Brain Aneurysm Foundation (BAF) at the Palencia Club in St. Augustine, FL on Monday, October 28, 2024.

The tournament will be followed by a dinner reception with raffles, prizes and silent auction. 100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit the BAF.

In 2020 Froggy who is a part of the Elvis Duran and The Morning Show on 97.9 KISS FM and afternoon on air personality on 99.1 WQIK, developed a brain aneurysm and thankfully had surgery to have the aneurysm clipped before it ruptured - something that could have easily taken his life if not discoverd in time. Froggy has since made it his mission to spread brain aneurysm awareness and advocate for the BAF.

The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is the globally recognized leader in brain aneurysm awareness, education, support, and advocacy, as well as the largest private funder of brain aneurysm research.

It is estimated that 1 in 50 people in the U.S. has an unruptured brain aneurysm. That is 6.7 million Americans. Brain aneurysms are a silent killer because they often present with no symptoms or the symptoms are often ignored or misdiagnosed. The statistics after a brain aneurysm ruptures are grim: of the 30,000 people that suffer a rupture each year, almost half of the victims will die and of those surviving, only a third will recover without disabilities. Incredibly a brain aneurysm ruptures every 18 minutes!

With your help, we can continue to fight the devastation caused by brain aneurysms and save lives. Thank you in advance for your consideration and contribution to this special event.
