Adventure Landing in Jacksonville Beach is nearing its end. The Jacksonville Beach City Council's plan for the site is to add an apartment complex with multiple affordable housing units, along with about 5,000 square feet of retail and office space. However, only 7% of the apartments, about 30 units, will fall under affordable housing. At least some of the land will be saved for conservation.
Before anything is set in stone, there is one final vote taking place on November 7th. If approved, the project is expected to take three years.
