'Riverdale' Production Shut Down Over Coronavirus Exposure

Riverdale's season four production is shut down after a production crew member came in contact with a coronavirus patient.

In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Television said the crew member is getting medically evaluated and that they are "working closely with the appropriate authorities and health agencies in Vancouver to identify and contact all individuals who may have come into direct contact with our team member," the statement read. "The health and safety of our employees, casts and crews is always our top priority. We have and will continue to take precautions to protect everyone who works on our productions around the world."

The show is currently airing season four and has already been renewed for a fifth season.
