Halsey Dedicates Okeechobee Fest Performance to Stoneman Douglas

Festival season is finally heeeere. I'm down at Okeechobee Music + Arts Festival this weekend!

I made it just in time to catch an amazing set by Khalid. If you still haven't listened to his album American Teen, DO IT ON REPEAT.

Halsey played next and of course she came out making baggy white pants an oversized white T-shirt look fierce. The new long, blonde pony made it a LOOK.

Hearing her strong, unique voice and raw lyrics live gave me legit goosebumps. She did a candlelight version of "Closer" that surprised and impressed.

She stopped towards the end of her set to say how much she genuinely loves Florida crowds because we have the rowdiest crowds. Duh.

She also dedicated her show to Stoneman Douglas High School. Halsey praised the students who are organizing protests and fighting for stricter gun laws. Then she turned around and showed us the what the back of her white tee said.
