It's official! After news leaked at the beginning of the month, Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed that there will be a "Harry Potter" TV series!
Each season will represent a different book in the series, and Warner Bros. Discovery said it may be a "decade-long series".
Author J.K. Rowling stated:
"Maxâs commitment to preserving the integrity of my books is important to me, and Iâm looking forward to being part of this new adaptation which will allow for a degree of depth and detail only afforded by a long form television series."
Many fans are pleased with the news, exclaiming that the original movie franchise left out many details and even some storylines that were in the books, and they're hoping what they were missing will make it in the tv adaptation!
