Taylor Swift is asking fans to meet her at midnight again! This time for the "Lavender Haze" music video premiere!
The release of the music video comes out just over three months since Taylor Swift released Midnights. Many fans knew this video was coming, but definitely expected it to come sooner.
One fan believes that the delay in the release was due to the success of "Anti-Hero" topping the Billboard Charts at 8 weeks as number 1 - her longest record yet. And that she would release the music video for "Lavender Haze" to draw attention away from it. Low and behold, this is the first week since the streak that it's not number 1! Right now, Miley Cyrus leads with "Flowers", followed by SZA with "Kill Bill", and "Anti-Hero" has fallen to the number 3 spot.
