There has been a secret website and social accounts titled theboysareback.co posting clues for the last two weeks on a boy band's return - countdown to the reveal and all. Some of these posts included photos of the music video filming locations of former bands like One Direction and N-Sync - which fans were really hoping for it to lead to the reveal of One Direction reuniting.
However, on January 1st, it was revealed that the band behind it all was Emblem3 announcing their return. Stating that "each clue is an homage to the legacies theyâve (the boybands) created". How we were supposed to guess Emblem3 from that... I don't know. Many fans feel catfished, while some are very excited for their return!
