One Direction has announced the title and release date of their upcoming third studio album.  The British boyband revealed on Friday that the album will be called Midnight Memories, and is set for a global release on November 25th.

It will be available for pre-order starting Monday, September 9th.  Both of One Direction's previous two albums have hit number one on the Billboard 200.

The announcement comes a week after the group's concert documentary This Is Us premiered in U.S theaters.  The movie made 18-million dollars in its opening Labor Day weekend, but still came in second behind Lee Daniels' The Butler in the box office race.

A tracklist for One Direction's new album has not been released, but it will feature the group's latest single "Best Song Ever," which took the "Song of the Summer" award at last month's MTV Video Music Awards.
